GUJRANWALA In an operation conducted on a Friday, a police team reported the arrest of three suspects, recovering a cache of illegal weapons and a substantial 700 bullets from their possession.

The detained individuals were identified as Usman and Irfan, while the third accomplice remains unidentified. Acting on suspicion, patrolling officers intercepted a vehicle and, upon inspection, discovered the illicit arms and ammunition.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the apprehended suspects hailed from Mandyala and were allegedly en route in a car to carry out a planned murder of a rival. A formal case has been registered in connection with the incident.

In a separate occurrence in Phoolnagar, the city police executed a raid resulting in the capture of three individuals involved in robbery. The raid led to the recovery of three stolen bikes, mobile phones, and illegal weapons from the apprehended suspects. Ongoing investigations aim to shed light on the details surrounding this criminal activity.
