President of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting at Punjab House in Islamabad today (Thursday).

Both leaders expressed their satisfaction over the country’s improving economic situation, noting a decrease in inflation and the policy rate.

They highlighted the positive trends in economic indicators and a record 8.8 billion dollars in remittances from overseas Pakistanis.

The meeting also focused on the importance of rapid relief efforts for the public, which they viewed as a positive sign.

They welcomed the recent arrival of a Saudi delegation in Pakistan and the upcoming SCO Summit, considering these developments beneficial for enhancing Pakistan’s image globally and promoting economic progress.

In his remarks, Nawaz Sharif emphasized the significance of the Charter of Democracy signed in 2006, calling it a historic decision that has reinforced democracy in the country.

He said Charter of Democracy allowed
political parties to unite against undemocratic forces and engage in constructive politics.

Nawaz Sharif expressed a vision for establishing a judicial system that respects the opinions of the public and institutions, ensuring that no individual holds undue supremacy. He also commended Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s political role.

In his remarks, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari acknowledged the importance of Nawaz Sharif’s political experience and vision for the nation.
