Islamabad:Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to hold intra-party elections on June 16 next in Islamabad, it emerged on Wednesday. According to the PML-N sources, the party elections are being conducted in the context of the instructions of the election commission.

It is expected that the current leaders will retain their positions in the party elections. The party presidency will remain with Shehbaz Sharif, and he is likely to be elected unopposed. Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz will continue to be the vice presidents. Elections will be held for all positions of the party except for the president and chief organizer. The candidates will submit their papers to the party office for the party positions.
