ISLAMABAD: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PMDA) has predicted more rains in flood-hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) from tomorrow.
According to a statement issued by the issued by the PDMA mild rains are expected in multiple regions of the province. The rains would continue until September 15 with interruptions, the PDMA said.
The PDMA has predicted rain in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu regions of the province. The PDMA has issued an advisory to the district administrations to prepare for the rains. The PMDA has warned about flooding in streams, and land sliding in mountainous regions amid the heavy rainfall.
