The Met office has forecast moderate monsoon currents are likely to penetrate from Arabian Sea in the country from today till Sunday.

Under the influence of this weather system, rain wind thundershower is expected in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Similarly rain wind with thundershower is also expected in Murree, Galliyat, northern and central Punjab from Wednesday till Saturday while rain-wind and thundershowers is also expected in south Punjab from Wednesday till Friday.

In Balochistan, hot and humid weather is expected in most districts of the province however rain wind and thundershower is expected in northern and eastern parts of the province from Wednesday till Friday.

In Sindh, mainly hot and very humid weather is expected in most districts of the province however rain, wind and thundershower is expected in Mithi, Sanghar, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas and coastal districts on Thursday and Friday.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, rainfall is expected in Diamir, As
tore, Skardu, Gilgit, Ghanche and Shigar from Wednesday till Sunday.

The met office has warned of increase inflows in local nullahs and streams of Murree, Manshera, Kohistan and Kashmir due to heavy fall.

Heavy rains can also cause landslides in vulnerable hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
