PM urges nation to collectively strive for a better and stronger Pakistan

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has urged the nation to collectively strive for a better and stronger Pakistan in 2025.

In his felicitation message on the New Year 2025, the Prime Minister said the outgone year was the worst year in terms of Israeli atrocities in Palestine, with the occupying forces committing unprecedented acts of cruelty.

Similarly, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), our oppressed brothers and sisters suffered under the brutality of the Indian occupying forces, he added.

The Prime Minister expressed the hope that in 2025, Palestine and IIOJK will achieve success in their struggle for freedom. Referring to the country’s economic situation, the Prime Minister said 2024 was a remarkable year for Pakistan.

He said in 2024, we marched from default to development overcoming economic challenges with resilience and determination.

The Prime Minister said we made difficult but necessary decisions that rescued our economy from collapse, restored macroeconomic stability, controlled fiscal deficits and strengthened our reserves.

Amidst other challenges, the Prime Minister said, Pakistan also faced a renewed surge in terrorism last year. However, our valiant armed forces, through their blood and sweat, remain steadfast in their commitment to securing a peaceful future for the motherland.
