Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has thanked Qatar for relief support for the flood affected people in Pakistan.
He was telephonically talking to Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday.
The Prime Minister mentioned the air bridge established by Qatar for provision of goods and equipment to flood affected people and a field hospital by Qatar in Sindh.
He said Pakistan and Qatar enjoy close and cordial relations rooted firmly in shared faith, mutual understanding and commonality of interests.
Recalling his recent visit to Qatar, Shehbaz Sharif expressed the resolve to work relentlessly to implement the decisions taken during the visit.
The Amir of Qatar conveyed condolences over the loss of precious lives and property due to floods in Pakistan and assured his country’s support for the flood-affected people of Pakistan.
