ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed the resolve to work towards further expanding mutual cooperation with Bahrain in diverse fields.

Talking to the Ambassador of Bahrain Mohammed Ebraheem Mohammed here in Islamabad on Wednesday, he strongly emphasized the importance of deepening economic engagement with Bahrain. He highlighted the vast potential of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment, IT, manpower and food security.

Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the efforts of the government of Bahrain in looking after the Pakistani community during the testing times of Covid-19. The Ambassador recalled the long standing and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Bahrain and underlined Bahrain’s desire to further deepen and broaden bilateral relations with Pakistan.
