Islamabad:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the suicide of Laiba Aijaz, a student of the International Islamic University, Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister has instructed the Inspector General of Police and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad to promptly apprehend the individual accused of blackmailing the deceased student.

Shehbaz Sharif described the incident as deeply tragic and emphasized that the accused will face arrest and exemplary punishment under the law.
