PM extends Eid greetings to Muslims, overseas Pakistanis

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif felicitating the entire Muslim Ummah, including Pakistan, on Eid-ul-Fitr has expressed the best wishes for them.

In his message on the occasion of Eid, the Prime Minister said after the blessed moments of Ramadan, the Allah Almighty has bestowed the reward of Eid, which is a manifestation of the immense bounties of God. He said this holy month of patience and self-sacrifice has given us the realization of the sufferings of others and sense of take care of the poor, the destitute and the needy around us. This is the true spirit of this occasion and the message of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet [Peace Be Upon Him].

The Prime Minister said the government is striving with determination to rid the nation of the scourge of load shedding. He said he has ordered not to carry out any load shedding during the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr so that the countrymen can celebrate the joys of this occasion to the fullest.

Shehbaz Sharif said the prices of petroleum products have not been increased keeping in view the joys of Eid-ul-Fitr and the problems of the people, who are already suffering from high inflation. He expressed the belief that with each passing day, you will find that your problems are decreasing as a result of the hard work of your government.

The Prime Minister, on this occasion of happiness, also remembered the oppressed Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and prayed to Allah Almighty to save them from the tyranny and bestowed them with the blessing of freedom. He also extended his best wishes to the Afghan people and prayed for durable peace, development and prosperity in Afghanistan.

Earlier, in a tweet today [Monday], the Prime Minister also extended warm Eid greetings to his fellow Muslim leaders over the close of holy month of Ramazan, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen ties with them.
