Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic capsizing of a passenger ship in the Mediterranean Sea: In a social media post on X, he extended his heartfelt condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish government, and the bereaved families.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister prayed for the swift and safe recovery of those still missing and commended the courageous search and rescue efforts underway. He emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the brotherly people of Trkiye at this difficult time.
