PM Embarks On Key Economic Summit In Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today departed for Azerbaijan to attend the 17th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit.

The summit, commencing today in Khankendi, will see the Pakistani leader engage with counterparts from across the region. A high-level delegation accompanies the Prime Minister, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

The ECO summit focuses on regional economic cooperation and development. The organization”s member states include Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The Prime Minister’s presence at the summit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to regional collaboration and economic growth. Discussions are expected to cover a range of topics, including trade, investment, and infrastructure development.
