An emergency meeting of the government’s allies is being held in Islamabad today to deliberate upon current situation in the country.

In a statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said cheif ministers of all provinces have been invited to the meeting, which would also be attended by the armed forces’ leadership.

She said important decisions are expected to be taken at the meeting.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called the emergency meeting of govt’s allies.
