SIBI: Commissioner Quetta Division, Balach Aziz and Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Saleh Muhammad Nasar have said that planting trees and taking care of it was a noble cause.
These views were expressed by them while planting saplings at Government Elementary College, Sibbi here on Wednesday under “Ten Billion Trees Tsunami Programme”. They said that government officers and representatives of civil society must play their due role for eliminating environmental pollution.
They added that trees contributed to the environment by providing oxygen, climate amelioration and preserving soil. On the occasion, Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Nizam Jogezai, Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Abdul Mutalib, Principal, Government Girls Elementary Girls College, Sibi, Salma Atta and others were also present.
