Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated Future E-commerce Operations Centre in Islamabad today.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the project, launched in partnership with China, will provide skilled training to youth in E-commerce and enable them to be economically self-reliant.

The Minister said youth are our most valuable asset and empowering them is the key to our country’s progress.

He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is future of Pakistan and next phase of this project is business-to-business cooperation for which private sectors of both the countries need to enhance their cooperation.

The National Multi-sectoral Nutrition Program to Reduce Stunting and other Forms of Malnutrition of worth 8.5 billion rupees is aimed at reducing stunting and other forms of malnutrition with the multisectoral approach.

This Multisectoral program is for 36 high burdened stunted, calamity hit and backward districts of the country which includes 12 from Balochistan, 10 from Sindh, 5 from Gilgit Baltistan and 2 each for Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
