PKMAP terms closing of border trade with Afghanistan as anti people policy.

Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) Chairman and leader of opposition alliance Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan, MNA Mehmood Khan Achakzai, on Tuesday said that legal proceedings should have been initiated against the accused of November 26.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a jirga ‘National Council’ held in Chaman under the aegis of PKMAP. He said in Pakistan, Punjabis, Balochis and Sindhis had their own separate national identities, but ban had been imposed on the distinct identity of Pushtuns of Balochistan.

He said all and sundry knew that mandate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was stolen on February 8, adding that the courts of the country should have taken notice of crackdown launched against the workers of PTI on November 26. He said that majority of people of Chaman had been dependent on border business with the neighbouring country Afghanistan, adding that closing border trade with Afghanistan was nothing but an anti people policy.
