Pation honors havaldar Nasir Mehmood shaheed

The nation pays homage to its brave martyrs, particularly Havaldar Nasir Mehmood Shaheed, a fearless soldier who sacrificed his life for Pakistan.

Havaldar Nasir embraced martyrdom on July 14, 2020, in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, leaving behind a legacy of courage and patriotism. He is survived by his father, widow, children, and siblings.

Hailing from Rawalpindi district, havaldar Nasir was known for his dedication to his country. His family members shared heartfelt memories, highlighting his noble character and deep love for his homeland.

“My son was very well-mannered and loved his family deeply,” his father said. “When I received the news of his martyrdom, it felt like the world had ended. Our bond was like that of friends. He was always determined to defend Pakistan, and I urge the nation to respect and honor our martyrs.”

The widow of havaldar Nasir expressed pride in her husband’s sacrifice. “I am proud of his martyrdom. He gave his life for our country. The last time we saw him was during Eid, which we celebrated with great enthusiasm. When I heard of his death, I couldn’t believe it. He always aspired to be a martyr.”

She added, “Even today, because of his sacrifice, we receive immense respect. The Pakistan Army has taken great care of us, and we are remembered as the family of a martyr. His martyrdom is an honor given by Allah, a status not everyone is blessed with.”

Havaldar Nasir’s brother also spoke with pride, “My brother was a great friend, and we lived together lovingly. His martyrdom brought us immense pride.”

His daughter fondly remembered him, saying, “Baba taught us to always speak the truth. When I am alone, I feel his presence with me.”

The sister of havaldar Nasir reflected on his aspirations, “He always asked us to pray for his martyrdom. I am proud to be the sister of a martyr.”

His son expressed his future ambitions inspired by his father, “I am very proud of my father’s martyrdom. I will grow up to join the Pakistan Army and defend our country and nation.”
