Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today emphasized the importance of Parliament in a message commemorating International Parliamentarianism Day.

Tessori stressed that greater involvement of young people and women in parliamentary procedures would bolster democratic values. He characterized a robust, transparent, and engaged legislature as essential for Pakistan”s development. He also expressed pride in Pakistan”s global efforts to promote parliamentarism.

The Governor highlighted the need for laws prioritizing public well-being, equality, and inclusivity. He emphasized the legislature”s role in ensuring accountability and transparency. Tessori noted the unity among political factions in supporting parliamentary independence and efficacy.
