Pakistan’s police used teargas, fired warning shots and detained several dozen supporters of ousted prime minister Imran Khan in order to halt his planned march to Islamabad to topple the new government. Khan had vowed to rally 2 million people in order to bring down the government that he claims was installed by his opponents in a conspiracy involving the United States.
