The Consul General of Pakistan in Hong Kong (SAR), Riaz Ahmed Shaikh called on the Director of Protocol HKSAR, Mr TSANG Chin Kwong, Harry on Thursday.

The two dignitaries discussed various areas of mutual interests including prospective avenues of cooperation between the two regions with a special focus on trade, investment and tourism, says a press release received here from Hong Kong.

While discussing the importance of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Projects, both sides agreed on enhancement of business collaboration and strengthening of mutual ties to encourage the FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) from this region.

The Consul General of Pakistan highlighted Pakistan’s significant potential in various sectors, including renewable energy, services, agriculture and textiles.

The Consul General appreciated the role of HKSAR (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) in strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Hong Kong (SAR).
