In a strategic move to address recent tensions with India, Pakistan is dispatching high-level delegations to key global capitals, starting from today.
This initiative, directed by the Prime Minister, aims to present Pakistan’s viewpoint on India”s recent actions and advocate for peace and dialogue.
The nine-member delegation to New York, Washington DC, London, and Brussels is spearheaded by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party and former Foreign Minister. The team includes prominent figures such as Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Senator Sherry Rehman, and Hina Rabbani Khar, among others. Meanwhile, another delegation led by Syed Tariq Fatemi will visit Moscow.
The delegations will emphasize Pakistan”s call for peaceful resolutions and highlight the importance of dialogue over confrontation. They aim to engage international stakeholders and urge a prompt return to the normal operations of the Indus Waters Treaty, promoting stability in South Asia.
Meetings are planned with global leaders, officials, and media to reinforce Pakistan”s stance and encourage international involvement in fostering long-term peace.
