Pakistan, in collaboration with twelve other nations, marked the culturally significant festival of Nowruz at the UNESCO Headquarters.
The event, attended by diplomats and dignitaries, highlighted the rich heritage of Nowruz with traditional music, performances, and exhibitions. Guests enjoyed traditional Pakistani cuisine, showcasing the country’s culinary heritage through dishes like shami kebabs and basmati biryani.
Nowruz represents peace and renewal and is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, jointly registered by Pakistan and twelve other countries. The event underscored Pakistan’s commitment to cultural understanding and unity at the global level.
