Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has commenced an official visit to Oman, engaging in a series of high-level meetings and industrial visits aimed at bolstering trade and cultural relations between the two nations.
According to a PID statement today, upon his arrival at Muscat International Airport, he was greeted by diplomatic dignitaries from the Pakistani Embassy and Omani officials.
On March 11, the Minister will tour Sohar Port and Sohar Free Zone, where he will be briefed by the CEO about the facilities. Discussions with the Chairman of Sohar Chamber of Commerce on investment and trade opportunities are also on the agenda.
Further meetings on March 12-13 include discussions with Omani leaders such as H.E Qais Al Yousif and H.E Dr. Saud Al Habsi. An official Iftar dinner and a session with H.E Faisal Al Rawas are also planned.
March 13 will see the Minister visiting Invest Oman Lounge, meeting with H.E Said Al Mawali to explore trade and logistics cooperation. Cultural visits to the Royal Opera House Muscat and Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque are also scheduled.
The visit concludes on March 14, marking a significant effort to strengthen bilateral relations and foster trade, investment, and cultural exchanges between Pakistan and Oman.
