The federal government has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to empowering girls across Pakistan, highlighting them as the “true drivers” of national progress on the International Day of the Girl Child.

In a message commemorating the occasion on Saturday, Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar paid tribute to the strength, courage, and leadership of young women who are actively shaping a brighter future for the nation.

The minister underscored the significance of this year’s theme, “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead,” stating it serves as a powerful reminder that girls are not merely beneficiaries of development but are central to its success.

Senator Tarar stressed that under the stewardship of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the administration continues to take concrete steps toward advancing the rights of girls. These initiatives focus on providing access to quality education, healthcare, protection, and equal opportunities for leadership and growth.
