Pakistan, Turkiye Reaffirm Strong Bilateral Ties, Discuss Regional Issues

Pakistan and Turkiye reaffirmed their robust bilateral relationship and addressed regional and international matters during a significant meeting between highranking officials from both nations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler. The meeting, held within the framework of the HighLevel Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), provided an opportunity for a comprehensive review of the two countries” multifaceted partnership. The discussions encompassed various topics, including political, economic, and security cooperation.

A statement issued by Pakistan”s Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the enduring bonds of brotherhood, amity, and confidence between the two nations. Both countries pledged continued collaboration towards regional stability, economic growth, and advancement, extending their shared vision beyond their immediate geographic area. The meeting underscores the importance of the PakistanTurkiye relationship in addressing global challenges.
