ISLAMABAD:Special Representative for Religious Harmony and Islamic Countries Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has said Pakistan will raise Kashmir dispute at all the international forums including the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation).
Addressing a news conference here in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said the Indian Supreme Court’s judgment on Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is not acceptable.
He said the resolution of Kashmir dispute lies in the UN Security Council resolutions. He said Pakistan will continue to stand by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
The Special Representative also announced to launch Hajj awareness campaign across the country in cooperation with Hajj Organizers Association of Pakistan. He said Hajj package under government scheme has been reduced by one hundred thousand rupees.
The Indian Supreme Court on Monday ruled that Article 370 which guaranteed special status to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) was a temporary provision and that the occupied territory was an integral part of India.
