Pakistan Targeting Militant Hideouts in Afghanistan: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced that Pakistan is conducting operations against militant hideouts inside Afghanistan, relying on precise intelligence information.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar clarified that Pakistan's operations have not targeted any civilian areas in Afghanistan. Instead, the focus has been exclusively on the infrastructure belonging to terrorists and their support networks. He dismissed claims made by the Afghan Taliban government regarding battlefield victories against Pakistan, labeling them as mere propaganda not worthy of serious consideration.

Tarar also addressed reports by the Afghan Taliban regime and the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan concerning civilian casualties. He stated that the information provided by the UN agency in Kabul is based entirely on data from the Taliban government. Furthermore, he highlighted a collaboration between the Afghan Taliban and the terrorist group Fitna al-Khawarij, underscoring what he sees as a nexus between the Afghan Taliban government and multiple terrorist organizations operating within Afghan territory.

Lastly, the Information Minister emphasized that all attacks initiated by the Afghan Taliban regime have been met with prompt and effective responses by Pakistan. He reiterated that Pakistan's military actions have been accurately directed at terrorist groups and their supporters, including striking at military bases associated with the Afghan Taliban.
