Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr today to discuss the ongoing Indian aggression and Pakistan’s strategic response through Operation Bunyan-un-Marsous.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar.

President Zardari praised the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their exceptional professionalism and courage in countering India’s unprovoked aggression and missile attacks. He highlighted Pakistan’s restraint despite Indian provocations, which he described as a testament to the nation’s commitment to peace.

However, he expressed regret that India’s continued hostility had compelled Pakistan to act decisively in defence of its sovereignty and citizens.

The President emphasised the unity of the Pakistani nation in supporting its Armed Forces and reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast resolve to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
