Pakistan Slams Indian Military’s ‘Delusional Propaganda’ Ahead of Elections, Warns of Instability

Pakistan’s military on Wednesday unleashed a blistering critique of its Indian counterpart, labelling recent statements from the Indian military leadership as “delusional, fabricated, and provocative propaganda” allegedly timed to influence upcoming state elections and warning such rhetoric could have serious repercussions for regional stability.

In a sharply worded communiqué, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) voiced “grave concern” over what it called a recurring tactic by Indian officials to employ anti-Pakistan rhetoric just before electoral contests, specifically citing the upcoming polls in Bihar and West Bengal.

“It is saddening to see the military leadership of a nuclear-armed country issuing irresponsible statements under immense political pressure,” the military’s media wing declared. It asserted that the “lies being fed to the Indian public and international audience have turned the Indian military machine into a laughing stock.”

The ISPR cautioned that such “unnecessary chest-thumping and unwarranted statements” risk igniting jingoism, which could possess dangerous implications for peace and security throughout South Asia.

The Pakistani military’s release also dismissed a recent Indian Army press briefing, claiming its contradictions were so evident they “should not be dignified with a response.” It accused Indian leadership of attempting to rewrite history using “Bollywood-style scripts” to alter the narrative following a defeat in what it referred to as Maarka-e-Haq.

“Indian Army and political leadership have not reconciled with the idea that they were decisively beaten in Maarka-e-Haq and that their falsehoods have been fully exposed,” the ISPR articulated. The declaration further alleged that the global community now recognizes India as “the true face of cross-border terrorism and the epicentre of regional instability.”

Concluding with a stern warning, the ISPR affirmed that Pakistan’s Armed Forces and its citizens remain fully prepared to defend every inch of the nation’s territory. “Every act of aggression will be dealt with a swift, resolute, and intense response that will be remembered by posterity.”
