ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining ongoing engagement and fostering mutually beneficial ties with Afghanistan.

The pledge was made by Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani during a meeting with Kandahar Governor Mullah Shirin, who visited him in Islamabad today. The Foreign Minister emphasized the imperative of addressing all issues to fully harness the potential for trade and connectivity.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Dr. Umar Saif says government is making all-out efforts to empower the youth of the country with info-tech skills. In an interview with a private TV channel, he said government would initiate a project to establish ten thousand countrywide E-Rozgar centers from next week.

The Minister said establishment of e-centers would increase investment in the country and create new employment opportunities.
