On the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis, Aun Chaudhry, attended a memorial service in Bosnia, conveying condolences from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani nation.

Chaudhry laid a wreath at the memorial, honoring the victims of the 1995 massacre. In his address, the minister reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to upholding human rights worldwide. He voiced support for those facing oppression in Palestine and Kashmir, pledging to champion justice and tranquility. Chaudhry described the Bosnian genocide as a tragic event in history. He underscored Pakistan”s firm belief in peaceful coexistence.

The minister emphasized the importance of acknowledging atrocities, whether in Serbia, Palestine, Kashmir, or any other location. He conveyed sympathies from the Pakistani government and its citizens to the people of Bosnia.
