Qatar’s leadership today expressed a strong desire to elevate its relationship with Pakistan to unprecedented levels, a sentiment that was warmly reciprocated by Islamabad during a high-level diplomatic telephone call.

The commitment was conveyed during a conversation between Pakistan”s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and the Qatari Minister of State of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi.

In their discussion, the two dignitaries reviewed the state of their bilateral relations and exchanged perspectives on regional and international issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their dedication to further strengthening the fraternal bond between the two nations.

The Qatari minister highlighted the significance of the recent valuable visit to Doha by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which served as a catalyst for the renewed diplomatic engagement.

In response, Deputy Prime Minister Dar extended his gratitude to the Qatari government for the warm reception and gracious hospitality provided to the Pakistani premier and his accompanying delegation during their stay.
