Pakistan Not Only Won the War but Also Gained Support from Multiple Countries: Sardar Masood

Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and seasoned diplomat Sardar Masood Khan has exposed a significant rift between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and the Indian military. Despite the Modi administration’s efforts to appoint BJP-affiliated generals to high positions, the armed forces have allegedly underperformed in war situations and refused to be used for political purposes. This revelation has sparked public curiosity, especially after the controversial statements made by Indian Chief of Defense Staff Anil Chauhan in Singapore, where he both acknowledged and denied the military’s failures, leading many to question why this information emerged abroad rather than domestically.

Sardar Masood Khan criticized India’s lack of insight and highlighted significant flaws in their military and governmental strategies. He pointed out that despite extensive diplomatic efforts, India’s support in recent conflicts has been limited to Israel, while Pakistan not only achieved success on the battlefield but also garnered support from multiple countries. The United States emerged as a mediator, bringing the Kashmir issue back to the global stage. He stated that the Indian parliamentary delegation, currently on an international tour, is alienating allies instead of winning them over, creating a crucial moment for Pakistan to devise a strategic plan to capitalize on opportunities in diplomacy, politics, trade, and economic aid.

Sardar Masood Khan further stated that Pakistan has promising support from countries such as Russia, the World Bank, Gulf states, and particularly China, which has reassured its strong ally. He expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s achievements and respect on the global stage. Discussing the sustainability of the India-Pakistan ceasefire, he noted that contrary to expectations, the ceasefire is holding, and there is open communication between the Directors General of Military Operations of both countries.

On further questions, the former President of Azad Kashmir observed that despite BJP’s aggressive rhetoric against Pakistan, differences are growing within India’s ruling party, the opposition Congress, and BJP’s ally Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. They are questioning events like the Pahalgam conflict, Pakistan’s subsequent involvement, and the ceasefire. Criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sardar Masood Khan accused him of resorting to deception after defeats on both military and narrative fronts, calling him the “Chief Deceiver” rather than the Prime Minister. He condemned Modi’s recent provocative statement in Gujarat, where he threatened the Pakistani people with a choice between food and violence, stating that no global leader uses such language.
