Pakistan National Day celebrated at Tehran

Ambassador of Pakistan in Tehran, Mudassir Tipu, on Tuesday witnessed the video mapping at Burj Azadi (Azadi Tower), Tehran to commemorate the Pakistan National Day.

The event was organized ahead of the eve of 23rd March, 2025, according to a press release received here from Tehran. The colorful event was witnessed by a large number of Pakistan diaspora, students and media representatives.

The flags of Pakistan and Iran were displayed and the national anthems of both the countries were played followed by the traditional music representing federating units of Pakistan and displaying landscapes of Pakistan.

Ambassador Muhammad Mudassir Tipu welcomed the guests and highlighted the historical significance of Pakistan National Day. He thanked the Government of Iran in extending facilitation to celebrate this day.

Since both the neighboring countries enjoy historical and cultural relations. Pakistan is cradle of ancient civilizations like Harapa, Moenjodaro and Indus valley civilizations.

Mehrgarh, located in Balochistan is the most ancient archaeological site of the world. They should be linked through cultural activities and tourism promotion. The envoy thanked the participants for joining the festivities.
