Pakistan Levels Series with Convincing Win Over West Indies

Islamabad: Pakistan beat West Indies by eight wickets in the second Test of the two-match series at Port of Spain last night to level the series 1-1.

According to Radio Pakistan, the victory was sealed with a solid performance by the Pakistani team, who chased down a target of 77 runs after restricting West Indies to scores of 344 and 117 in their two innings. Pakistan managed to score 387 in their first innings, setting the stage for a straightforward chase in the final innings.

Abdullah Shafique's remarkable performance earned him the Player of the Match award, while Babar Azam's consistent excellence throughout the series saw him named Player of the Series. The match showcased Pakistan's resilience and strategic planning, which ultimately led to their successful run chase and a series-leveling victory.
