Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan Sign Multiple Pacts To Boost Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed the strengthened cooperation between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan following the conclusion of the fifth session of the Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) in Islamabad today.

A high-ranking Kyrgyz delegation, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, met with Prime Minister Sharif. The delegation’s visit centered around the IGC meeting, focusing on bolstering bilateral partnerships across various sectors.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed his contentment with the successful IGC session and praised the signing of the protocol and several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). He described these agreements as crucial advancements in promoting trade, energy partnerships, connectivity, and cultural exchanges.

The Prime Minister underscored Pakistan’s dedication to implementing the IGC’s decisions and emphasized the necessity of prompt action to achieve concrete results.

The Kyrgyz representatives commended the Pakistani government”s endeavors to cultivate closer bilateral relations and expressed optimism that the IGC outcomes would yield deeper and more effective cooperation.

Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating for the mutual advancement of their citizens and pledged ongoing engagement at all levels to strengthen Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan relations.
