Islamabad: Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan today exchanged fifteen MOUs and agreements, covering diverse areas including mining and geo sciences, energy, agriculture, tourism, the transfer of sentenced prisoners, customs, surgical instruments, and culture.
According to Radio Pakistan, one of the agreements was related to establishing a sister city relationship between Bishkek and Islamabad. Another significant memorandum of understanding (MOU) envisaged cooperation in the field of utilization of Pakistani ports for regional connectivity, highlighting the strategic importance of this collaboration.
Additionally, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic and the National University of Modern Languages also signed an MOU to foster cooperation, marking a step forward in educational and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
These agreements are expected to strengthen bilateral relations and pave the way for future collaborations in various fields, enhancing mutual growth and development.
