Pakistani and Kuwaiti Foreign Ministers met at the UN, expressing grave concerns over the escalating violence in Gaza and advocating for a two-state solution.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Abdullah Al-Yahya, held discussions on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Two-State Solution.
Both diplomats explored avenues to bolster their nations” ties, focusing on increased collaboration in commerce, finance, power, sustenance security, and military cooperation. They also emphasized the importance of joint efforts in international bodies like the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The ministers concurred on the necessity of high-level diplomatic visits soon to further solidify their bilateral partnership. They voiced profound anxiety over Israel”s continued aggression towards Palestinians and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
The two leaders underscored the critical need for a just and durable resolution to the conflict. They expressed optimism that the conference”s outcomes would significantly contribute to achieving the two-state solution.
