The Saudi Government has granted special permission to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims stranded at Pakistani airports to arrive in Jeddah Airport by 12th hours tonight (Wednesday).

Spokesman for the Ministry of Religious Affairs Muhammad Omar Butt told Radio Pakistan in Makkah that 148 pilgrims will arrive at Jeddah airport through different airways.

Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor thanked the Saudi authorities for granting special permission and lauded the efforts of Pakistan Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia for immediate resolution of the issue.

The spokesman said that officials of Pakistan Hajj Mission have been deployed at Jeddah Airport to guide and facilitate the pilgrims.

He appealed the pilgrims who missed their flights to contact the concerned Hajj camp or tour operator immediately.
