Zero tolerance policy is being observed for supporting staff (Mouvineen) in their duties to serve the intending pilgrims.

This was stated by Director Accommodation and Transport at the Pakistan Hajj Mission Asghar Ali Yusufzai during a press conference in Makkah today.

He said an effective system has been put in place to evaluate the performance of Hajj supporting staff and service providers, who are duty-bound to serve intending Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.

He emphasized that there is zero tolerance for any negligence in performing duties, whether by Pakistan-based Mouavneen or local Mouavneen, contractors to provide accommodation, food or transport.

Talking about the buildings hired for the pilgrims he said, so far, 141 residential buildings were hired for pilgrims in three localities, including Al-Azizia, Batha Quraish, and Al-Naseem, with a 2-6 kilometer distance, which has been divided into nine sectors.

To a question, the director said 275 latest buses have been arranged for the movement of Pakistan’s pilgrims from the airport to their hotel-accommodation, five-time prayer in Haram Sharif and travel during Hajj days for Mina, Arafaat.
