Pakistan hailed for supporting Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD:,,, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders have thanked Pakistan’s political and military leadership for its solid, unwavering and all-out support to the Kashmir freedom movement.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK leaders including Muhammad Sultan Butt, Javed Ahmed Butt, Zahid Safi, Manzoor Ahmed Shah, Syed Aijaz Rehmani, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt and Zahid Ashraf in their separate statements issued in Islamabad said Pakistan’s unequivocal support to the Kashmir cause is a source of strength and encouragement for the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are confronting Hindutva military repression and cultural invasion.

The leaders maintained that the way Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, reiterated the country’s commitment with the Kashmiris during his visit to Azad Kashmir and gave befitting response to Hindutva Indian government shows that Pakistan has deep feeling for the freedom-loving Kashmiri people. They further said the Prime Minister categorically rejected the Indian Supreme Court’s verdict regarding Article 370 and assured the Kashmiris that Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to their just cause.

The APHC-AJK leaders also thanked Pakistan Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir, for raising the Kashmir dispute forcefully during his visit to the US. They stated that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have highlighted the Kashmir freedom movement and exposed Indian crimes in Kashmir at the international level.

They also expressed gratitude to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for condemning the Indian Supreme Court’s biased verdict and reaffirming support to the Kashmiris
