Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh says Pakistan has emerged as a key stabilizing factor in the region based on its defense, diplomatic and political strategies.
According to a report today, he said Pakistan’s international standing and diplomatic credibility have significantly increased following Marka-e-Haq. The Ambassador said Pakistan presented its position based on facts and prudence during Marka-e-Haq, which strengthened the country’s global reputation.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said Pakistan is still seeking evidence regarding the Pulwama and Pahalgam incidents, and the world is also waiting for the same. The Ambassador said there is no clause in the Indus Waters Treaty that allows it to be suspended. He emphasized that using water as a weapon would constitute aggression and a violation of international law.
He made it clear if Pakistan’s water or territorial integrity is threatened, the country will fully exercise its right to self-defense.
