Pakistan, Egypt agree to broaden bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD:,,, Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to broaden bilateral relations in the areas of politics, trade and investment.

This came at a meeting between Additional Foreign Secretary Middle East Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Ahmed Shaheen in Egypt, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report.

The two sides agreed to work together to advance mutually beneficial cooperation and dialogue between the two countries.

They also discussed convening of the next round of Joint Ministerial Commission meeting and Annual Bilateral Consultations later this year in Islamabad.
