Pakistan has called for an immediate halt to the war in Gaza and urged the implementation of the January 15 ceasefire agreement during a session of the UN Security Council.

Addressing the 15-member council in New York, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram, stressed that Israel’s military actions, attacks, and the loss of Palestinian lives must stop.

He underscored Pakistan’s position on the urgent need to end hostilities and ensure the protection of Palestinian rights. The call for action reflects ongoing international concerns regarding the conflict and the need for a peaceful resolution.
