Pakistan Condemns Houthi Militia Attacks on Civilian Targets in Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Pakistan has condemned the reprehensible attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against civilian and economic targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in Saudi Arabia.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Office, in a statement today, highlighted these attacks as a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom. The attacks pose a threat to the peace and stability of the entire region and undermine efforts for a peaceful and durable resolution of the conflict in Yemen.

The Foreign Office reiterated Pakistan's unwavering support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and prosperity of Saudi Arabia. Pakistan stands in complete solidarity with the leadership, government, and people of Saudi Arabia.

The statement also conveyed Pakistan's wishes for the swift and full recovery of all those injured in the attacks. In line with the UN Charter and international law, Pakistan fully supports Saudi Arabia's right to take necessary measures to defend its territory, protect its citizens and residents, and safeguard its national assets against any threat.

Pakistan has been and will continue to make efforts for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
