ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and China have reaffirmed commitment to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

This came at a meeting between Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Tibet, China, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report. Emphasizing positive trajectory of bilateral ties, they pledged to enhance high level exchanges and strategic communication for continued cooperation.

Earlier, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani emphasized the importance of regional cooperation for green development, ecological preservation and geographical connectivity. Addressing the 3rd China Tibet Trans-Himalayan Forum in Tibet, China, he said this is also important for inclusive and sustainable development.
