Pakistan Army troops are patrolling the area in and around Islamabad to protect the lives and property of the people and maintain law and order.

The Army has been deployed in the federal capital under Article 245 of the Constitution. According to a Radio Pakistan’s report quoting sources, Army is also present and alert in Chungi No. 26 area to deal with any kind of emergency.

It said no miscreants will be allowed to disrupt law and order. Meanwhile, more soldiers of Pakistan Army have been deployed in the federal capital to make security arrangements foolproof.

The Radio Pakistan report quoting sources said that Pakistan Army has also taken over the security of Srinagar highway and the routes leading to D Chowk.

Pakistan Army is carrying out the responsibilities together with the local administration for maintenance of law and order.
