Islamabad: Indonesian Naval Chief Admiral Dr. Muhammad Ali met with Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi today. During the meeting, discussions centered on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral defence cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the current state of military-to-military relations. They also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, particularly in the areas of professional training, defence collaboration, and joint exercises.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan's dedication to enhancing its longstanding and brotherly relations with Indonesia, with a focus on defence and security. Admiral Dr. Muhammad Ali acknowledged the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and appreciated their contributions to regional peace and stability.
