Pakistan and Egypt Strengthen Ties with Shared Goals and Cooperation

Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has highlighted the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Egypt, emphasizing their shared history, common values, and mutual respect. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad to mark Egypt's National Day, he conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the Egyptian government and its people on behalf of Pakistan's President, Prime Minister, and citizens.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal underscored the importance Pakistan places on its relations with Egypt, considering it a key partner in the Arab and Muslim world. He noted the close cooperation between the two nations on various levels, including bilateral, regional, and international platforms.

The Minister highlighted the solidarity between Pakistan and Egypt on issues of mutual concern, and their collaborative efforts to promote peace, stability, and development in the Muslim world and beyond. He acknowledged Egypt's role in fostering regional peace and its active engagement in addressing contemporary challenges.

Jam Kamal praised Egypt's initiatives in facilitating humanitarian assistance for Palestinians and expressed gratitude for its support in delivering Pakistan's aid to Gaza. He also appreciated Egypt's contributions to Pakistan's health sector, reflecting the deep ties between the two countries.

Furthermore, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the growing defense cooperation, which includes training exchanges and high-level military visits. The relationship between Pakistan and Egypt continues to strengthen, driven by shared goals and cooperative efforts in various fields.
