Pakistan has accused a regional adversary of sponsoring terrorism, presenting credible evidence at the United Nations linking the attack on the Jaffar Express to external forces.

Delivering a national statement at the launch of the “Victims of Terrorism Association Network,” Jawad Ajmal, Counselor at the Pakistan Mission, highlighted the incident where at least 30 Pakistani nationals lost their lives, with dozens taken hostage.

Ajmal emphasized the need to hold both terrorists and their handlers accountable for their actions. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s stance against terrorism in all its forms, including rightwing extremism, Islamophobia, racially and ethnically motivated terrorism, and statesponsored terrorism.
